Volunteers are needed for the following positions in Adult Music Ministries (please sign up using the form at the bottom of the page):
Chancel Choir - sings mostly traditional anthems for the 9:45 and 11:00 traditional worship services on Sunday. This choir presents a Christmas and Easter concert each year. Rehearsals are on Thursdays from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m.
Gospel Choir - open to adults who enjoy singing Southern Gospel and newer styles of Christian music. They sing in worship periodically, for special occasions, and in concerts in other churches. Rehearsals are on Mondays from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m.
Saints Alive Choir - sings "fun" sacred and secular music and is open to adults 55 and over. They sing in nursing homes, for special activities and occasionally in worship. Rehearsals are on Tuesdays from 1:45 to 3:00 p.m.
Women's Ensemble - sings occasionally in worship services and for special church and community events. Its ministry includes singing for residents of retirement and nursing facilities and for civic organizations. Rehearsals are on Wednesday mornings from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m.
Hearts Aflame - an outreach ministry group that provides contemporary music on several occasions during the year at all worship services. Membership is by audition. The group includes musicians, as well as technicians in sound and media presentations.
Men's Ensemble - sings occasionally in worship services and for special church and community events. They sometimes sing at other churches or retirement centers on Sunday evenings, together with the Gospel Choir. Membership is by audition. Rehearsals are Sunday mornings from 8:55 to 9:25 a.m.
Broadmoor Brass - a group of high school, college age and adult musicians who play occasionally in worship, for special programs, and as an outreach ministry. Rehearsals are on Tuesdays from 7:00 to 8:15 p.m.
Chancel Ringers - a handbell ensemble open to senior high, college and adult ringers with beginning through advanced ringing ability. The Chancel Ringers rehearse on Thursdays from 6:45 to 7:45 p.m. and ring in worship occasionally.
Liturgical Dance Choir - interpret music with movement to provide a creative, visual dimension to worship. Dancers participate in worship services and at other churches. A dance background is helpful but not necessary. Rehearsals are on Tuesdays from 5:30 to 6:45 p.m.
King's Pipes (Flute Choir) - open to experienced flautists. They play occasionally in worship, at other church events, and in the community. Rehearsals are on Thursdays from 5:45 to 7:00 p.m.
