Sunday School Teacher – prepares and presents lessons for adult classes who study a range of topics from Bible lessons to contemporary issues. These responsibilities are often shared.
Singles Ministry Council – helps to plan, implement and evaluate programs for our singles at Broadmoor. Everything from fun and fellowship events to seminars and conferences.
Prime O’Life - Holy Chow (monthly luncheon)– assist with everything from setting and decorating tables, planning programs, serving catered food, and cleaning up the kitchen.
Prime O’Life - Green Acres – A vegetable garden located on our campus that provides fresh food for Southeast Ministries. Servants are needed to plant, maintain, and harvest the vegetables.
Prime O’Life - Educational Expo/Seminars – assist with special workshops such as Wellness & Health Care, Financial Planning, Before Bereavement, 55 Alive Driving Course, etc.
Prime O’Life - Trips – Both day and longer trips are offered at various times during the year. Servants plan and coordinate these trips.
Prime O’Life - Spiritual Retreats – plan, coordinate, and select speakers for our annual fall retreat to the Methodist Conference Center in Woodworth, LA.
Prime O’Life - Social Activities – assist with planning game nights, talent show, dinner dance, movies, etc.
Prime O’Life - Garage Sale – Our annual garage sale raises approximately $12,000 per year. You can help publicize the event city-wide, set up, and sell.
Prime O’Life - Appalachia Service Project – use your skills in our annual trip to Jonesville, Virginia by helping to make homes safer, warmer and more comfortable.
Young Adult Ministry – Members help facilitate/plan young adult, family activities, and retreats. Volunteers need not be a young adult age group (around 22-30) to participate on the ministry team.
